Below we have links to video tutorials on how to access your child's Google Account, Google Classroom, School Email, and other various videos as they are created.
If you are having trouble with technology, here are a couple simple steps you can try.
1. Reboot your device!
Many technical issues can be resolved with a simple reboot/restart of a device!
2. Make sure your device is connected to WiFi/the Internet.
All of our content is on the web, so an active internet connection is an absolute must! If your device says you are connected to the internet, but webpages still aren't loading, try unplugging your internet modem or router for a few seconds, then plugging it back in.
3. Write down your passwords.
Google account and Email passwords are generally handled by giving you a temporary password, and then the program you are logging into will ask you to choose a new password on your next login. Remember, your Google account password and school email passwords are both separate passwords. You can set them to be the same if you wish, but they can also be different. Make sure to write down the passwords you choose!
4. Use the Google Chrome web browser.
Many of the websites our teachers will be using this year work best in Google Chrome. If you are using a personal device and you are having an odd issue while using a web browser such as Internet Explorer or Microsoft Edge, please try installing Google Chrome on your device! 5. Clear your cache and cookies.
If you've tried the above steps and you are still having issues, you can try to clear the cache and cookies in your web browser. This will often resolve stubborn issues that the previous steps don't catch. For more information on how to do this, please visit this Google support document here.
