Assignment:  Use Windows Movie Maker to create a picture slideshow using transitions and effects.

1. Open Windows Movie Maker

Start – Programs – Windows Movie Maker

2. Import pictures into Movie Maker (Download pictures from web if you don’t already have them saved)

Click on “Import Pictures” in the Movie Tasks pane.

3. Add imported pictures to the timeline.

Once the pictures have been imported they will show up in the Collection pane.  You can then drag each image to the timeline.

4. Add transitions between slideshow pictures.

Click on the drop-down box and choose “video transitions”.

Drag the transitions from the transitions pane to between the pictures.

5. Add video effects to the pictures

Choose “Video Effects” from the drop-down window

Drag the effects from the Effects pane down on top of a picture in the time line.

6. Rewind your video by clicking on the rewind button, then play your video.

7. Make changes as necessary.

8. Save your movie file.
