Welcome
Home !
Home Again

We close our eyes and imagine
What it will be like
To see them get off that bus,
And back to us
Home Again

We are so proud of them
Our pride will be brimming over with our tears
We will hug them and never want to let them go
Our sun tanned,, weary soldiers will be
Home Again

This past year has been a blur
It has dragged on and on
Tick tock, tick tock
Often our hearts were heavy
Yet at the same time it has flown
Like the hot sand in the Iraqi desert
Home again

Our husbands, fathers, sons, brothers, uncles, cousins, and friends are coming back as our heroes
It is almost over
It will be so wonderful to see our soldiers
Home again

Thank you God, for we know you do exist
You were with them every day, every hour,
every anxious minute, protecting them
And when we thought we could not make it through, you helped us through.
And now you are bringing our Soldiers
Home Again
