"Attention Parents of Students in 4th and 8th Grade
Selected students in 4th and 8th grade will be taking the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) and represent both Pennsylvania and GNA as part of our nation’s educational system. This assessment will be given in February 2017. The results are used to help the government make important decisions on ways to improve education in the U.S. The NAEP is also called "The Nation's Report Card" and measures student achievement on a national level.
We encourage parents to check out the following video on youtube introducing NAEP to parents: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RurH739zdN0&feature=youtu.be. In addition, please look at the NAEP website to review what participation in NAEP means for your child and how results from the assessment are used- https://nces.ed.gov/nationsreportcard/parents/."

Director of Special Education

Dear Parent,
We are writing to advise that the District is in the process of renovating restroom facilities within the District. During the renovation period, alternate arrangements are being made for students who may require the use of an ADA accessible restroom facility. Specifically, and for this interim period only, students who require physical accommodation will be using the restroom facilities located in the nurses'office. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me to discuss.

Susan M. Lipsey
Director of Special Education
