Jared Kmietowicz was the medal winner with a 42 to lead Nanticoke in a hard fought loss to Lake Lehman. Rob James shot a 46, chris Buchanan had a 47 and Matt Prentiss had a 50.

Pittston Area 173, Nanticoke Area 195

Keanu Springs shot a 41 to lead Pittston Area to the win at Sand Springs Golf Course (par 36). Carl Kiwak shot a 42, followed by Nick Altieri (43), Nikko Ardo (47) and Mike Shandra (47).

Matt Prentiss shot a 45 for Nanticoke Area. Chris Buchanan shot a 46, followed by Jared Kmietowicz (52) and Blake Brown (52).

A Word from the coaches

Matt Prentiss, Chris Buchanan, Jared Kmietwicz and Blake Brown went to Pre-Districts on September 24, 2007 to try and qualify for Districts.
All of our guys shot well espically Jared and Chris.
The cutoff was 86 and Chris shot an 87 and Jared an 89.
We would like to congratulate all 4 guys on a great round.

At Fox Hill Country Club par 25) Jamie Bresnahan finished with a 37 to lead Wyoming Area.
Jared Kmietowicz led Nanticoke Area with a 44.

Mike Napkori (40), Don Dereemer (41), Zack Aciukewicz (45) and Tom McGrath (52) topped the scores for the Royals at Sand Springs Golf Course.
Chris Buchanan (48), Blake Brown (52), Rob James (53) and Jared Kmietowicz/John Urbanski (56) placed for Nanticoke.

Rocco Falcone and Steve Brand each shot a 12-over 48 at Sand Springs Golf Club (par 36) to earn co-medalist honors for Wyoming Valley West.
Nick Humphreys and Joe Haley both finished in 54 strokes for the Spartans.
Blake Brown and Rob James led Nanticoke each with a 51. Chris Buchanan (52) and Jarod Kmietowicz (53) also scored.

At Huntsville Golf club (par 36) Evans Leas fired a 42 to pace Wyoming Seminary past Nanticoke Area. Jared Kmietowicz paced Nanticoke with a 47.

Kevin McNulty fired a 40 to take medalist honors as Coughlin defeated Nanticoke at the Par 36 Sand Springs Golf Curse. Mike Daubert shot a 45 for the Crusaders, followed by Joe Patrizi (46) and Joe Caffrey (47).

At Shawdowbrook Golf Course (par 37), Dakota Brown turned in a 40 to lead Tunkhannock past Nanticoke Area. Jared Kmietowicz was low-scorer for Nanticoke with a 47.

Chris Skevofilax shot a 42 to lead the Mountaineers, while Steve Sabol (43), Mike Rutalis (45) and Tony Vevevino (47) rounded things out.
Joe Kmietowicz (47), Mat Prentiss (52), Chris Buchanan (52) and Rob James (54) scored for the Trojans.

At Sugarloaf Golf Club (par 36), Tom McGuire fired a one-under par and Mike Sidari finished even par to pace Hazleton Area (4-1) to a win over Nanticoke Area (3-2). James Van Horn and Paul Link rounded out the top four for the Cougars with a 38 and 40, respectively.
Mat Prentiss had a 42 for Nanticoke.

"I want to say as the coach, I'm very proud of our guys. They played together as a team to get a win with Meyers shooting 264 and the Trojans coming in with a 191. Tomorrow 8/29/07 we have a match against Hazleton Area at Sugarloaf, and I know our guys will give it their best effort. Good luck guys!"

At Sand Springs (par 36), Matt Kachurak fired a 41 to lead Crestwood (2-0) past Nanticoke Area. Blake Brown led Nanticoke (1-1) with a 46.

Mat Prentiss carded 47 at Sand Springs Golf Club (par 36) to earn medalist honors and lead the Trojans.
Chris Buchanan and Jared Kmietowicz shot 51s for Nanticoke and Rob James fired 53.
For GAR, Tony Mendoza led the way with a 57, while Scott Parvone (68), Phillip Richards (73) and Mike Casterline (74) also scored.
